- Page of icon based links to access the most commonly used folders on the Sale College Servers such as student worksheets, staff shared etc. The closest thing we have to an intranet at present.

Please note that although this page is on the world wide web, Sale College servers can only be accessed when you are at school and logged on to either Scollege or Gserver.

The Learning Federation - licensed digital curriculum content to support teaching and learning.

Assessment for Learning - assessment tasks here are not learning and teaching units, but they do suggest, in broad terms, what learning needs to have taken place before students undertake the provided assessment tasks.

Sale Cluster for Innovation and Excellence Website - contains a wealth of resources created by teachers in the Local area as part of what was the Innovations and Excellence Cluster. Resources will be of particular interest for Years 7 and 8 teachers.

ICT Professional Development Support Folder - on our server and contains a wide range of support on a range of commonly used software programs - some of it in the form of video tutorials and podcasts. There are also suggestions and strategies for using these programs within the classroom.

Series of ICT and VELs Video Tutorials and support notes on our server covering a range of Microsoft programs. Provides ideas for teachers and easy to follow steps. Activities covered can be used to meet some of the VELs ICT outcomes.

Design Awareness Video Presentation CD on our server containing a wealth of resources, activities and information on the using the design elements and principles correctly when presenting information on a computer screen. Great for any teacher wanting students to create any presentation designed for the computer screen.

A great guide for students in terms of correct presentation and layout of information and images that can be used with the whole class or downloaded into worksheets for students to access. Copy the presentation to your laptop for class rather than stream from the server. Class support notes in PDF can be printed directly from some topics within the presentation.

Adobe CS3 Support folder on our server containing support files to complement the series of books on Adobe CS3 produced by NatColl Publishing that are available from the library at Macalister.
We have the activity books that go with the CD files for Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, In Design, Photoshop Advanced, Premier Elements

Adobe Photoshop Elements video Tutorials that cover a range of techniques for editing images. Copy to the worksheets folder if you want students to access them.

In the same folder there are also support files to accompany the NatColl book for
Windows Movie Maker.

 

 Sale College College Curriculim Files

These curriculum files are arranged by KLA and hold the unit outlines for each Year level.
A new proforma was introduced in September 2008 for staff to use when writing unit outlines. The Post September 2008 folder is where course outlines using the new proforma are to be saved.
