This is also supported through the extensive transition program where students have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with Sale College before attending formal classes.
The curriculum is delivered, in conjunction with pastoral sessions, to give year 7 students a broad overview of all subjects offered at Sale College and to allow them to make an educated decision about future pathways.

Year 7 students proudly display those "Wicked Inquiry Projects" voted as most impressive.
The first week of Term Three has been an overwhelming success, with Year 7 students actively demonstrating their ability to maintain already established high standards. The cohort participated in the Wicked Problem inquiry project on the first day of term as a means to once again become familiar with their peers, whilst simultaneously experiencing a deep level of learning. The picture below was taken of the students whose projects were voted as the most impressive.
Guthridge students and their teachers participating in the Science and Tech Clubs held during Tuesday Lunch time.
Lunch time Clubs are off to a flying start for Term 3.
In the Science Club Mr K, Ms Cook and student Grace experiment with a range of chemicals to see how they react when placed in water. Amazingly, one chemical bursts into flame!
Mr Pattie’s Tech Club are learning how to repair 3D printers with a series of spare parts that Mr Pattie has manufactured on his 3D printer at home. Welcome to the amazing world of Technology and Science!
These are just two of the clubs run during lunch times at the Guthridge Campus. The Science and Tech Clubs run every Tuesday. All students are welcome to come along.
In an exciting development for Year Seven, students from each class were given the opportunity to apply for the position of Student Leader. Each grade elected one student, which will result in significant involvement as a leader in many areas and events.
A coveted position within the Leadership Team will require dedication and a fierce drive from elected students to develop their leadership skills. Congratulations to the following students for being elected by their peers:
